i am a nomadic, black, queer, enby, gender expansive, multi-passionate, medicine maker. my definition of medicine is ever expanding. currently my medicines include: storytelling througphotography &writing, herbalism, witnessing, archivism
i hold many identities and am coming to find comfort and ease through that embodiment.
storytelling allows me to explore my curiosities about the quirks and uniqueness of people and the world surrounding me.
my photography is focused in portraits, documentary, concept, and landscape; while my writing takes on remembrance of self, archiving and preserving stories, tradition, liferecipes, culture, identities.
i currently reside in atlanta, ga, but originally from columbia, sc. i was raised with roots in the black c.o.g.i.c. church and academia, so my work sometimes reflects my journey through deconstuction and returning home to myself.
i received my bachelor of arts degree at the university of south carolina inmedia arts and psychology. i work as a community creative consultant & producer, and archivist, dedicated to amplifying the presence of and recording the stories and experiences of my intersecting communities.
